Farm Update: Winter Shipping & New Livebearers

The past few weeks here at our Florida fish farm have brought some colder-than-normal weather, but our shipping systems performed exactly as designed. Our custom-made insulated coolers paired with 72-hour heat packs held strong, and fish continued to arrive safely despite extended cold conditions across much of the country.

We monitor weather closely during winter shipping and adjust packing methods as needed. Each order is packed with pure oxygen, insulation, and heat support to maintain stable temperatures throughout transit. Even during the coldest stretches, these systems proved reliable.

On the production side, we’ve added many new livebearers to the farm. Several varieties are now growing out and will be making their way into availability as they reach proper size. Livebearers continue to be a strong focus here, and we’re excited about the quality and volume coming along.

As always, we appreciate the patience and support from our customers. Running a small, family-operated aquaculture farm means adapting to conditions while continuing to do things the right way — with care, transparency, and consistency.

More updates soon.
