Buenos Aires Tetra (Hyphessobrycon anisitsi) is a lively and hardy schooling fish with silver bodies, red fins, and a shimmering blue line. Great for medium to large community tanks, they are active swimmers that bring constant motion and color.
Buenos Aires Tetras originate from the rivers of Argentina, Paraguay, and Brazil. Known for their durability and bold activity level, they adapt well to a variety of water conditions.
They are excellent for larger community aquariums but should be kept in groups of 6 or more to minimize fin-nipping. Their red fins and metallic sheen make them an attractive choice for both beginners and experienced aquarists.
