Red Coral Wag Platies (Xiphophorus maculatus)

These Red Coral Wag Platies are tank-raised, vibrant, and hardy. Their bright red body and dark tail pattern make them a standout choice for freshwater aquariums. Peaceful and active, they thrive in community setups and are excellent for both beginners and experienced aquarists.

Each fish is hand-selected and raised here in Florida at D&G Farms, our licensed aquaculture facility. Because they are tank-bred and not imported, Red Coral Wag Platies acclimate quickly, show excellent health, and ship exceptionally well. They are active swimmers, easy to feed, and ideal for planted and community tanks.

Platies are one of the most popular livebearers for community aquariums, and they pair well with Guppies, Endlers, Mollies, Swordtails, Corydoras, Tetras, Cherry Barbs, Rasboras, and other peaceful freshwater fish. Other Platy varieties we offer include Green Lantern Platy, Coral Red Platy, Red Platy, Red Wag Platy, Panda Platy, Tuxedo Platy, and Assorted Platies.
