Super Red Texas Care Guides
Super Red Texas are ornamental hybrid cichlids selected for color and pearling. Juvenile fish can change greatly as they mature. Color development and peeling are not guaranteed unless specifically stated in the individual listing.
General Care
Plan adult space before buying fry. Use a mature aquarium with strong filtration, good oxygenation, protected equipment, and securely placed décor. Keep ammonia and nitrite at zero and maintain a regular water-change routine. These fish are territorial; have a divider or separate tank ready before attempting tankmates or pairing.
Tank sizes below are planning recommendations for adult care. Aquarium footprint, group size, filtration, and individual behavior can require more space. Use stable conditions within the listed range; avoid sudden changes.
