Vieja cichlids are among the most impressive and difficult-to-find Central American cichlids in the aquarium hobby. True Vieja species are slow-growing, territorial, and rarely produced in commercial quantities, making authentic specimens increasingly scarce.

This collection is reserved exclusively for true Vieja species, correctly identified under modern taxonomy. Many fish historically sold as “Vieja” are now recognized as different genera or hybrids and are not included here.

Availability is limited and sporadic. When verified Vieja stock becomes available, it will be offered in small numbers and listed here.
