Emperor Tetra ( Nematobrycon palmeri ) is a peaceful, colorful schooling fish known for its elegant purple-blue shimmer and long flowing fins. A great choice for community aquariums, they thrive in groups and add constant movement to planted tanks.

Emperor Tetra are native to slow-moving rivers of Colombia and are prized for their royal appearance and active schooling behavior. Males develop longer fins and a deep violet body tone, while females are slightly smaller and lighter in color.

These tetras are hardy and adapt well to a variety of water conditions, making them ideal for both beginner and experienced aquarists.
