This is an unusually high-pearled Golden Base Flowerhorn. The pearling is so dense that much of it has coalesced into a pale, ghost-like appearance over the Golden Base coloration. Under different lighting, the underlying gold and red tones become more apparent.
This is the exact fish shown in the photos. Individual coloration may appear slightly different depending on lighting, camera settings, and aquarium conditions.
Flowerhorns are intelligent, interactive cichlids with strong personalities. They are generally best kept as a centerpiece fish because they can be aggressive and territorial.
Recommended care: Temperature: 80–85°F pH: approximately 7.4–8.0 Minimum aquarium: 55 gallons, with larger aquariums preferred as the fish matures.
