This is an unusually high-pearled Golden Base Flowerhorn . The pearling is so dense that much of it has coalesced into a pale, ghost-like appearance over the Golden Base coloration. Under different lighting, the underlying gold and red tones become more apparent.

Individual coloration may appear slightly different depending on lighting, camera settings, and aquarium conditions.

Flowerhorns are intelligent, interactive cichlids with strong personalities. They are generally best kept as a centerpiece fish because they can be aggressive and territorial.

• Temperature: 80–84°F
• pH: 7.0–8.0
• Water Hardness: moderate to hard
• Tank Size: 75 gallons for a single developing fish; 125 gallons or larger preferred for an adult
• Temperament: Very territorial and often aggressive
• Setup: Allow open swimming space and sturdy shelter without sharp edges. Use a divider only if both sides retain adequate space and filtration.
• Diet: Quality Flowerhorn or large-cichlid pellets with suitable aquatic frozen foods; avoid overfeeding.
• Compatibility: A solitary display is safest. Do not assume two juveniles will remain compatible.

Use a fully cycled aquarium, stable water conditions, and regular water changes. Plan space for the animals as they grow.
