Japanese Endler (Poecilia wingei)
Japanese Endlers are a refined, line-bred Endler strain known for their intense metallic blues, reds, and black patterning, combined with a compact body and constant activity. Males display sharp contrast and strong iridescence, making them ideal for display tanks, nano aquariums, and selective breeding projects.
Unlike mass-produced Endlers, these are farm-raised, stable lines, selected for color consistency and vigor. Males color early and remain active, while females are hardy and productive breeders when kept under proper conditions.
Japanese Endlers are peaceful, easy to care for, and thrive in planted aquariums. They are excellent community fish with other small, non-aggressive species and are especially popular among hobbyists who appreciate fine color detail in smaller fish.
